I Am Undone!

Isaiah 6:5 “Then I said, “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Hosts.

A supernatural encounter with the Lord can completely change the direction of your life. I found myself worshiping the Lord in my living room. I was asking God for a vision for 2021. I sensed the Lord solidifying things I have been dreaming of. That encounter was life changing and it marked my path and challenged me to look within. I walked away with a new vision and sense of purpose for 2021.

The prophet Isaiah had a vision in the temple of God that caused him to see his frailty before God. When he encountered the Lord’s presence, the Bible says that he came “undone.” Isaiah saw his sinfulness when coming face to face with God! So much so that it caused him to pronounce it. In the first few verses of Isaiah 6 you can catch a glimpse of the glory and greatness of God and His power to forgive and renew.

I believe that in order for God to really develop the purpose he has in store, we must be willing to be undone by an encounter with His changing power. It is only in the presence of the Lord and sitting at His feet, that we see ourselves for who we really are. We must humble ourselves to allow Him to do His work in us. That is how we get used for His glory!

When was the last time you sat at the Lord’s feet and encountered His presence?

Be willing to become undone so that He can use you.

What was Isaiah’s response after that life changing encounter? He exclaimed, “Here I am! Send me!” Isaiah 6:8

God met him, changed him and called him!

Challenge: Find a quiet place and seek a life changing encounter with the Lord. Trust Him with a new path and purpose for 2021.
